I spent the long 4th of July weekend at a spot in New York State called the Chautauqua Institute. It’s a beautiful destination nestled on a lovely lake and possesses loads of old world charm. What’s also so great is that there are loads of old school gardeners and you can see that they pour their hearts into their gardens, even though it’s a very short season for them (just 9 weeks) and a 5a zone.
The following three photos are taken by my super talented brother-in-law while visiting Chautauqua for the weekend as well. You can find him here and check out his photography work.
So that’s my weekend in pictures. Hope you enjoyed your Fourth of July holiday too. Thank you as always for stopping by and reading (looking mostly this time).
