I’m doing a contest! And offering one of my favorite gardening books as the prize.
If you are not familiar with Christopher Lloyd and his garden at Great Dixter in Sussex, England, then you’re in for a treat. He had an intense passion for plants and spent the greater part of his life developing the gardens around his historic home. He also had a passion and talent for writing and produced many books on the subject of gardening. The title I’m giving away, ‘Sussession Planting for Year-Round Pleasure’ was one of his last but is one of my favorites. Beyond inspiring (especially since we’re heading into the Winter months in the Northeast U.S.) and with loads of drool worthy photographs, it’s a great winter armchair book to help you plan next years gardens.
What do I have to do to win you ask? Just be an Extravagantgardens.com active subscriber and leave a comment on this post that you would like to be entered. Super easy. I’ll announce a winner Monday, November 4th (I’ll do a random drawing that morning).
Good luck! I hope whoever wins enjoys his book as much as I always have.
