Do you cook a lot? I cook just about every night for my family, plus I seem to entertain quite a bit and that usually centers around dinner. Sometimes I just get sick of whipping up something earth shaking and want something easy and yummy to serve – well this recipe is it – Salmon with Mustard and Capers. It couldn’t be simpler and since my children like salmon too, I just leave half of the strip of fish uncoated and they can add their lemon.
Salmon with Mustard and Capers
- 1/2 Pound Salmon (per person)
- Dijon Mustard
- Lemon (for garnish)
This couldn't be a simpler recipe, especially if you need something easy and fast that tastes amazing.
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.
Unwrap your fish and place it on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
Coat the top of the fish with a thin layer of mustard and then top with your capers. A few good grinds of pepper will finish the process and it's ready for the oven! That's it. Bake until the center is firm.
I skip the salt since the capers are already salty enough and I like to squeeze a ton of lemon on top (preferably Meyer from my little trees!). It’s always yummy. And don’t forget the parchment paper – less clean up is always a plus in my book.
Thanks for reading EG and I hope you enjoy the salmon recipe…
