Looks like one of my favorite sage plants is dying rapidly, so I’ve taken a few cuttings and I’m propagating sage today. It’s an easy and fun way to expand your garden, plus it’s super inexpensive.
From a taste standpoint, there’s nothing particularly special about this plant. It’s classic. What I love is that it has a slightly elongated and narrow leaf and a nicely mounded form. It sits along a back pathway with some lavender and I just love it and will miss it if it dies without these little babies taking. Fingers crossed!
And if you’re not used to propagating, here’s the simple way to do it. If you want to reproduce something en masse, this is a great way to go about it. I knew a family who did 50 boxwoods to line their driveway, it was a fabulous project and looked stunning!
Enjoy the week!
